Unbelievable what these brave dachshunds are doing with the huge snake (video)

You definitely haven’t seen anything like this before! We were also surprised at how intensely their ancient heritage lives within them.

The two smooth-haired dachshunds displayed incredible courage and ferocity as they neutralized the large snake. If we think about it, perhaps it’s not so surprising. These enthusiastic little guys were originally bred for hunting. And not just any kind of hunting! The standard-sized dogs were used to hunt badgers, foxes, and even wild boars. Their typical job, besides tracking game, was “terriering,” meaning they had to dive underground and flush out the prey from its den.
