This sweet and excited dog not only brings a smile to our faces, but also proves that dogs with disabilities can live full and happy lives.

We’ve watched this short little dog video a million times, as the dog with his wheelchair (actually wheels for walking) prepares for his afternoon walk, then dashes down the street like lightning after his companion. This is the best day of his life, just as yesterday was, and tomorrow will be, even though both his hind legs are paralysed.

Undeniably, there are days in our lives when all we can do is complain. We see ourselves as ugly and miserable and just plain dissatisfied with everything. We cry ourselves to sleep over a pimple, when if we looked around a little we would realise that the role of victim suits us very badly. It’s on days like this that videos like the one featuring this adorable dog are really effective. What does he care that he can only get around in a wheelchair? Nothing! He can’t wait to be strapped into his little vehicle and rushes off to feel the breeze ruffle every hair on his head. Another day when we should take a leaf out of the dogs’ book and believe that, even if the circumstances are not perfect, life can still be beautiful.
