A giant of the canine world, who nevertheless cuddles up to his owner like a little kitten.

We’d like to ask the gentleman how comfortable he is with this set-up, but we think that no matter how scared you get, if you have to choose, he’ll vote for proximity to his pet. And the feeling is mutual: certainly this well-bred Irish Wolfhound, Arthur, would like to be as close as possible to his beloved owner.

The fact that the inner image of a dog is not the same as the outer image is not unique: there are some dogs who although they are small but with a great sense of self. Typical examples are dogs that are small but have a big personality is the Chihuahua and the Yorkshire Terrier.

While some powerful dog, like Arthur, mostly live their daily lives as lapdogs. The Saint Bernard Dogs are also characterised by kittenish behaviour.
